Subscriber Data Management Market to Receive Overwhelming Hike In Revenue
According to a new report published by Allied Market Research, titled, ā€œSubscriber Data Management Market, Size, Share, Competitive Landscape and Trend Analysis Report by Solution (Subscriber Data Repository, Subscriber Policy Management, Subscriber Identity Management, Subscriber Location and Device Information Management), by Network Type (Mobile Networks, Fixed Networks), by Deployment Model (On-Premises, Cloud), by Enterprise Size (Large Enterprises, Small and Medium Enterprises), by Application Type (Mobile, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Others): Global Opportunity Analysis and Industry Forecast, 2021–2031ā€ The subscriber data management market was valued at $4.9 billion in 2021, and is estimated to reach $25.5 billion by 2031, growing at a CAGR of 18.4% from 2022 to 2031.
The complexity of managing multiple databases and data structures led to inconsistencies and overlap in data, difficulties in provisioning, limited redundancy, and high cost of operations. SDM addresses all these issues, separating application logic from data storage and helping facilitate data-less application front ends and limitless redundancy. Further, it is evolving as the physical network to virtualized, cloud-native, service-based architecture (SBA).
Tumblr media
Factors such as, the increase in adoption of subscriber data management solutions to enhance operation & productivity, fuel the growth of the market. In addition, communications service providers are investing in 5G networks, a trend that is expected to continue to provide lucrative growth opportunities for the market during the forecast period. Moreover, the growing number of mobile devices and NFV and IP system deployments, combined with increasing demand for advanced network technologies such as LTE and VoLTE, has led to significant growth in the subscriber data management market forecast. However, security & privacy concerns related to the data hamper the growth of the subscriber data management industry.
On the basis of application type, the mobile segment dominated the subscriber data management market size in 2021 and is expected to continue this trend during the forecast period. The mobile-based SDM solution is a unified platform for both 4G and 5G subscriptions, simplifying the network upgrade path. It implements a network data layer approach to independently interface with multiple applications, preventing duplication by consolidating data in a single, centralized, highly scalable, robust, and cost-effective repository. However, voice over internet protocol (VoIP) segment is expected to experience fastest growth in the coming years. VoIP technology helps to reduce the cost of voice communication to almost nothing for personal and commercial use.
Region-wise, North America dominated the market share in 2021 for the subscriber data management market. Adoption of subscriber data management solution growing steadily to meet increasing demands from today’s businesses to enhance their business process and improve the customer experience is expected to fuel the market growth in this region. However, Asia-Pacific is expected to exhibit the highest growth during the forecast period. Surge in digitalization toward business operation, is projected to provide lucrative growth opportunities for the subscriber data management market in Asia-Pacific region.
Inquire Before Buying: https://www.alliedmarketresearch.com/purchase-enquiry/45009
The outbreak of COVID-19 is anticipated to provide numerous opportunities for the market to grow during the forecast period. These opportunities include a surge in demand for SDM platform in enterprises due to remote work initiatives, as more businesses see the benefits of these platforms. It further altered how businesses handle their processes. Data storage has also been altered, as all business information has been moved to the cloud, where it is both safe and conveniently available to users for remote work.
Moreover, it is anticipated that post pandemic, companies will focus more on solutions that will support advanced planning and mitigate the impact of similar events in the future. Furthermore, increased requirement to optimize operation expenditure while analyzing customer behavior for targeted activities has fueled a boom in demand for convergent billing market. For instance, in June 2020, China Telecom partnered with Nokia’s core networking products for 5G. This partnership includes multiple Nokia Software, ION products, Unified Data Management, User Plane, and Session Management Functions. Nokia currently has a 17% market share in China Unicom’s rapidly expanding VoLTE network, where it has deployed Nokia’s cloud-based vIMS platform. This deal will further enhance the long-term partnership between China Unicom and Nokia. Such enhancements propel the growth of the market in the upcoming years.
Factors such as shutdown of educational institutions, offices, and manufacturing facilities for an indefinite period; major shift toward work-from-home culture; and implementation of social distancing policies have led to increasing need of technologies, which can help them to pass through these difficult times. COVID-19 has positively impacted on the digital transformation initiative, which is expected to provide lucrative growth opportunities for the SDM market in the upcoming years.

The specific process by which Google enshittified its search
Tumblr media
I'm touring my new, nationally bestselling novel The Bezzle! Catch me SATURDAY (Apr 27) in MARIN COUNTY, then Winnipeg (May 2), Calgary (May 3), Vancouver (May 4), and beyond!
Tumblr media
All digital businesses have the technical capacity to enshittify: the ability to change the underlying functions of the business from moment to moment and user to user, allowing for the rapid transfer of value between business customers, end users and shareholders:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/02/19/twiddler/
If you'd like an essay-formatted version of this thread to read or share, here's a link to it on pluralistic.net, my surveillance-free, ad-free, tracker-free blog:
https://pluralistic.net/2024/04/24/naming-names/#prabhakar-raghavan
Which raises an important question: why do companies enshittify at a specific moment, after refraining from enshittifying before? After all, a company always has the potential to benefit by treating its business customers and end users worse, by giving them a worse deal. If you charge more for your product and pay your suppliers less, that leaves more money on the table for your investors.
Of course, it's not that simple. While cheating, price-gouging, and degrading your product can produce gains, these tactics also threaten losses. You might lose customers to a rival, or get punished by a regulator, or face mass resignations from your employees who really believe in your product.
Companies choose not to enshittify their products…until they choose to do so. One theory to explain this is that companies are engaged in a process of continuous assessment, gathering data about their competitive risks, their regulators' mettle, their employees' boldness. When these assessments indicate that the conditions are favorable to enshittification, the CEO walks over to the big "enshittification" lever on the wall and yanks it all the way to MAX.
Some companies have certainly done this – and paid the price. Think of Myspace or Yahoo: companies that made themselves worse by reducing quality and gouging on price (be it measured in dollars or attention – that is, ads) before sinking into obscure senescence. These companies made a bet that they could get richer while getting worse, and they were wrong, and they lost out.
But this model doesn't explain the Great Enshittening, in which all the tech companies are enshittifying at the same time. Maybe all these companies are subscribing to the same business newsletter (or, more likely, buying advice from the same management consultancy) (cough McKinsey cough) that is a kind of industry-wide starter pistol for enshittification.
I think it's something else. I think the main job of a CEO is to show up for work every morning and yank on the enshittification lever as hard as you can, in hopes that you can eke out some incremental gains in your company's cost-basis and/or income by shifting value away from your suppliers and customers to yourself.
We get good digital services when the enshittification lever doesn't budge – when it is constrained: by competition, by regulation, by interoperable mods and hacks that undo enshittification (like alternative clients and ad-blockers) and by workers who have bargaining power thanks to a tight labor market or a powerful union:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/11/09/lead-me-not-into-temptation/#chamberlain
When Google ordered its staff to build a secret Chinese search engine that would censor search results and rat out dissidents to the Chinese secret police, googlers revolted and refused, and the project died:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragonfly_(search_engine)
When Google tried to win a US government contract to build AI for drones used to target and murder civilians far from the battlefield, googlers revolted and refused, and the project died:
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/01/technology/google-pentagon-project-maven.html
What's happened since – what's behind all the tech companies enshittifying all at once – is that tech worker power has been smashed, especially at Google, where 12,000 workers were fired just months after a $80b stock buyback that would have paid their wages for the next 27 years. Likewise, competition has receded from tech bosses' worries, thanks to lax antitrust enforcement that saw most credible competitors merged into behemoths, or neutralized with predatory pricing schemes. Lax enforcement of other policies – privacy, labor and consumer protection loosened up the enshittification lever even more. And the expansion of IP rights, which criminalize most kinds of reverse engineering and aftermarket modification, means that interoperability no longer applies friction to the enshittification lever.
Now that every tech boss has an enshittification lever that moves very freely, they can show up for work, yank the enshittification lever, and it goes all the way to MAX. When googlers protested the company's complicity in the genocide in Gaza, Google didn't kill the project – it mass-fired the workers:
https://medium.com/@notechforapartheid/statement-from-google-workers-with-the-no-tech-for-apartheid-campaign-on-googles-indiscriminate-28ba4c9b7ce8
Enshittification is a macroeconomic phenomenon, determined by the regulatory environment for competition, privacy, labor, consumer protection and IP. But enshittification is also a microeconomic phenomenon, the result of innumerable boardroom and product-planning fights within companies in which would-be enshittifiers try to do things that make the company's products and services shittier wrestle with rivals who want to keep things as they are, or make them better, whether out of principle or fear of the consequences.
Those microeconomic wrestling-matches are where we find enshittification's heroes and villains – the people who fight for the user or stand up for a fair deal, versus the people who want to cheat and wreck to make things better for the company and win bonuses and promotions for themselves:
https://locusmag.com/2023/11/commentary-by-cory-doctorow-dont-be-evil/
These microeconomic struggles are usually obscure, because companies are secretive institutions and our glimpses into their deliberations are normally limited to the odd leaked memo, whistleblower tell-all, or spectacular worker revolt. But when a company gets dragged into court, a new window opens into the company's internal operations. That's especially true when the plaintiff is the US government.
Which brings me back to Google, the poster-child for enshittification, a company that revolutionized the internet a quarter of a century ago with a search-engine that was so good that it felt like magic, which has decayed so badly and so rapidly that whole sections of the internet are disappearing from view for the 90% of users who rely on the search engine as their gateway to the internet.
Google is being sued by the DOJ's Antitrust Division, and that means we are getting a very deep look into the company, as its internal emails and memos come to light:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/10/03/not-feeling-lucky/#fundamental-laws-of-economics
Google is a tech company, and tech companies have literary cultures – they run on email and other forms of written communication, even for casual speech, which is more likely to take place in a chat program than at a water-cooler. This means that tech companies have giant databases full of confessions to every crime they've ever committed:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/09/03/big-tech-cant-stop-telling-on-itself/
Large pieces of Google's database-of-crimes are now on display – so much, in fact, that it's hard for anyone to parse through it all and understand what it means. But some people are trying, and coming up with gold. One of those successful prospectors is Ed Zitron, who has produced a staggering account of the precise moment at which Google search tipped over into enshittification, which names the executives at the very heart of the rot:
https://www.wheresyoured.at/the-men-who-killed-google/
Zitron tells the story of a boardroom struggle over search quality, in which Ben Gomes – a long-tenured googler who helped define the company during its best years – lost a fight with Prabhakar Raghavan, a computer scientist turned manager whose tactic for increasing the number of search queries (and thus the number of ads the company could show to searchers) was to decrease the quality of search. That way, searchers would have to spend more time on Google before they found what they were looking for.
Zitron contrasts the background of these two figures. Gomes, the hero, worked at Google for 19 years, solving fantastically hard technical scaling problems and eventually becoming the company's "search czar." Raghavan, the villain, "failed upwards" through his career, including a stint as Yahoo's head of search from 2005-12, a presiding over the collapse of Yahoo's search business. Under Raghavan's leadership, Yahoo's search market-share fell from 30.4% to 14%, and in the end, Yahoo jettisoned its search altogether and replaced it with Bing.
For Zitron, the memos show how Raghavan engineered the ouster of Gomes, with help from the company CEO, the ex-McKinseyite Sundar Pichai. It was a triumph for enshittification, a deliberate decision to make the product worse in order to make it more profitable, under the (correct) belief that the company's exclusivity deals to provide search everywhere from Iphones and Samsungs to Mozilla would mean that the business would face no consequences for doing so.
It a picture of a company that isn't just too big to fail – it's (as FTC Chair Lina Khan put it on The Daily Show) too big to care:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaDTiWaYfcM
Zitron's done excellent sleuthing through the court exhibits here, and his writeup is incandescently brilliant. But there's one point I quibble with him on. Zitron writes that "It’s because the people running the tech industry are no longer those that built it."
I think that gets it backwards. I think that there were always enshittifiers in the C-suites of these companies. When Page and Brin brought in the war criminal Eric Schmidt to run the company, he surely started every day with a ritual, ferocious tug at that enshittification lever. The difference wasn't who was in the C-suite – the difference was how freely the lever moved.
On Saturday, I wrote:
The platforms used to treat us well and now treat us badly. That's not because they were setting a patient trap, luring us in with good treatment in the expectation of locking us in and turning on us. Tech bosses do not have the executive function to lie in wait for years and years.
https://pluralistic.net/2024/04/22/kargo-kult-kaptialism/#dont-buy-it
Someone on Hacker News called that "silly," adding that "tech bosses do in fact have the executive function to lie in wait for years and years. That's literally the business model of most startups":
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=40114339
That's not quite right, though. The business-model of the startup is to yank on the enshittification lever every day. Tech bosses don't lie in wait for the perfect moment to claw away all the value from their employees, users, business customers, and suppliers – they're always trying to get that value. It's only when they become too big to care that they succeed. That's the definition of being too big to care.
In antitrust circles, they sometimes say that "the process is the punishment." No matter what happens to the DOJ's case against Google, its internal workers have been made visible to the public. The secrecy surrounding the Google trial when it was underway meant that a lot of this stuff flew under the radar when it first appeared. But as Zitron's work shows, there is plenty of treasure to be found in that trove of documents that is now permanently in the public domain.
When future scholars study the enshittocene, they will look to accounts like Zitron's to mark the turning points from the old, good internet to the enshitternet. Let's hope those future scholars have a new, good internet on which to publish their findings.

We still don’t know quite why the assassin of Brian Thompson targeted the CEO of UnitedHealthcare. But it’s hardly a secret that UnitedHealthcare has the worst record among all large insurers in denying necessary medical care to its subscribers.
The data confirm what far too many patients experience. In 2023, UnitedHealth’s denial rate of claims was 32 percent, compared to an industry average of 16 percent. Nonprofits had a far better record than for-profits.
I had assumed that UnitedHealth’s business model was to lowball premiums and then more than make up the profit by denying claims. But it’s even worse than that.
In Massachusetts, where I live, a supplemental Medicare policy from UnitedHealth costs $251 a month. An identical policy from Blue Cross, which has the state’s best record in not denying care, costs $212.
Why on earth would consumers buy such a flawed insurance product? It helps if they are captive customers, steered to UnitedHealth by a trusted source. That would be AARP.
AARP has just under 38 million members. But AARP is basically an insurance marketing scheme masquerading as an advocacy group for the elderly.
For 27 years, UnitedHealth has been the co-branded choice of AARP. If you are looking for a supplemental policy to conventional Medicare, or a Medicare Advantage product, or a Medicare drug insurance policy, AARP will steer you to UnitedHealth. And only to UnitedHealth.
The reason is shameful. UnitedHealth kicks back 4.95 percent of premium income from AARP subscribers to AARP. And the numbers are staggering. According to AARP’s audited financial report, AARP made $289.3 million from member dues, but $1.134 billion from kickbacks from insurers, of which the lion’s share, $905 million, was from health insurers. AARP delicately refers to these as royalties.
And somehow, because it is a nonprofit, AARP manages to avoid income taxes on this kickback income. Despite Congress’s efforts over the years to make nonprofits pay taxes on commercial income, AARP paid only about $3 million in federal income taxes on ā€œroyaltiesā€ of well over a billion. Flaunting the narrative
I just came back from a nice dinner & drinks in town, with friends who visit from Athens. Lo and behold, my DMs are on fire again, but my (in)famous Inbox is, as expected, resoundingly quiet. [Later edit: not for long].
It would seem S's latest interview for yet another one of those glossy magazines one usually spots untouched in any random Main Street dentist's cabinet or real estate office did manage to raise a couple of eyebrows, after all. With very few data publicly available, Flaunt Magazine is the kind of media outlet with four times less Instagram followers than S, so this begs the question to whom the murder interview really profits:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is very little out there about Flaunt Magazine, indeed. Other than it was founded in September 1998 by three amigos (Alex Barajas, Jim Turner and Long Nguyen), all of whom were also part of the editorial team of the (now defunct?) Detour Magazine, there is virtually nothing else. This does or should ring a bell about the real importance and relevance of this media stunt - not much to add here, either. Other than that, past issues of Flaunt seem to be traded between fans of celebrities who (more or less) regularly grace its pages, in what I do think are paid/in kind op-eds written by people with no clear professional print, in agreement and by prior arrangement with the talent's PR:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Compared to Flaunt, a real lifestyle press behemoth such as Harper's Bazaar (this blogger has subscribed to for many years, ahem) has a quite different audience level and marketing approach:
Tumblr media
Six times more Instagram followers and a clearly more friendly pricing policy:
Tumblr media
[Sorry, what I managed to find is the UK offer - blame it on their regional settings, I suppose: however, I think the US offer might not be that different].
In other words, I am beginning to suspect more and more Flaunt is that kind of vanity/hybrid press product, where costs and risks are more or less evenly split between the printer/publisher and the client. Therefore, you would be naive to expect anything else than some tightly controlled, neat-o narrative aligned content. Especially considering the targeted audience, which is (of course) the American fandom, albeit with a tinge of 'sophistication' and a totally artificial 'whimsical twist' (California, here I come).
Onwards to the candid bullshittery.
The article opens with a precise timeline reference:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Source: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy0g2p47xd5o]
Therefore, the interview happened somewhere between 11 and 14 October 2024, just about the time S was overseas and C was spotted having dinner in London with the Rothschilds and no Tracula in sight. And there is another thing that immediately screamed at me from that pixelated page: George Mallory. Which brought me exactly here:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes, absolutely. The Golden Goose that never was. That still hurts, judging by the melancholy with which S talks about Everest, not climbing it after all, still planning to visit next December:
Tumblr media
Perhaps with Jake Norton, a reputed Scottish American mountaineer (I think you were right on the money, darling - you know who you are, šŸ˜˜šŸ˜˜ā¤ļø), S met and stroke a friendship with since 2023:
Tumblr media
The December reference is not innocent at all. It is there to sparkle endless speculation about what S will be doing on Xmas and Hogmanay, too (and with whom, of course - and there you have all the factions dutifully served with an extra side of bullshite to dissect). Fan wars galore, fuming and flaming DMs and inboxes to boot. He/his PR know that and apparently they still need that Idiotenspiel at play for a while. Also, December's got 31 days, something that Stans worldwide seem to suddenly ignore.
Once the proper tone is set and given, the rest flows almost naturally: zero reference to C (1500% expected) and what is a clearly tailored, yet fizzling, bomb:
Tumblr media
'I'm really on the precipice': now that is some extraordinary choice of words, isn't it? This and the 'I don't know' are probably the only authentic reactions in the very strange quote I underlined.
Tumblr media
'Being on the precipice' is almost always negatively connotated. It logically has nothing to do with the idea of starting a new journey, but it has everything to do with the idea that he is now confronted with the lack of security and comfort and with the potential loss of notoriety the end of OL might bring. Something he very clumsily tries to disguise as 'I feel I'm no longer tied by Outlander', which must also be the counterfactual understatement of the year, really. There is legally and factually no way he wouldn't still be tied by Outlander, irrespective of how tedious that might feel. He still needs the Mommies' hardcore clientele pool, while he is commendably trying to diversify his sales and marketing strategy. These things do not happen in the blink of an eye and he knows it very well. However, he also really needs to portray himself as something else than a one trick pony, in order to remain bankable in Hollywood and elsewhere. Hence the 'I am not tied to OL anymore', I am able to do bigger and better things, and in the long run I would also like to make a springboard, not a dead end out of it.
Finally, there is no way he would be legally untied from OL. Contracts are still contracts. They include clauses and obligations that will be enforced most probably until after the show's last season will be aired. There is very little to zero leeway around it, for the time being. By the time those clauses and obligations will be rendered obsolete, very few of those Anons and Stans and Mommies and Onlies will still be around to even give a flying duck about the whole life situation.
And then, we have the 'maybe I'll start a family'. Despite what all of my Anons are shrieking right now in my inbox, this is not even the first time he hints at it, and I seriously do not understand why the sudden hysterical surge. Anons probably think I am amnesic, or something:
Tumblr media
That is a direct quote from Waypoints. He announced nothing. It's been there, in plain sight, for a long time already and if anything, it is consistent with the narrative.
The rest is borderline irrelevant, visually and conceptually incoherent ('nude scenes are difficult and even dangerous to shoot, when dealt with in a non-professional way, but here is a shirtless bucolic pic that will make my Onlies drool and buy collector's issues at extortionate prices'). The overall impression it gave me was of a hastily cobbled and not very clever circumstance paper. Nothing more, nothing less.
There is no amount of wishful thinking that is going to immediately and magically change the current state of play. Reasonable people should expect mild, but constant turbulence ahead, with a sprinkle of cuteness and innuendo just to keep all the fandom's factions engaged and present, which translates to S/C/SC being relevant for potential employers, agents, the press, etc. In a nutshell, absolutely nothing new. You can screech, you won't change an iota of what I know is true and my position is firmer than ever, no matter how ridiculously hard you try to intimidate or harass me. That's all.

Chlorine dioxide is a broad antimicrobial that is safe for ingestion. Bolivian MP's passed a law supporting widespread use to combat Covid. This action led to a massive reduction in deaths.
Pierre Kory, MD, MPA
Dec 28, 2024
In myĀ first post in this series,Ā I introduced the topic of chlorine dioxide as a therapeutic within its ā€œpoliticalā€ context, not scientific. After a cursory introduction regarding its safety along with a few citations of its efficacy, I highlighted the regulatory, media, and judicial attacks against any who manufacture, recommend and/or sell chlorine dioxide for medicinal purposes via oral ingestion.
A key point I brought attention to is the bizarre prohibition against ā€œoral ingestionā€ that ā€œtheyā€ are trying to block at all costs (despite studies of both oral and IV administration showing little to no toxicity and the fact that there are numerous products already on the market for oral and/or dental applications).
In this post, I will share what I recently learned of what happened in Bolivia around chlorine dioxide. I think it is a story the world needs to hear. Again, these are the first of a series of posts on chlorine dioxide with later ones going more deeply into the data on safety and efficacy fas well as treatment approaches for various conditions. If you don’t want to miss the rest of the series, I suggest you subscribe now:Subscribe
THE BOLIVIAN EXPERIENCE
The most notable event around chlorine dioxide in Bolivia was when a group of parliamentarians managed (somehow) to pass a law which allowed for the manufacture and distribution (and use) of chlorine dioxide in Bolivia on October 14, 2020:

How to Trade Indices Signals in 2025?
In 2025, indices trading stands out as a popular strategy for those seeking to trade the broader market rather than individual stocks. For both new and experienced traders, indices trading offers a way to gain exposure to a basket of stocks within a specific sector, region, or market.Ā
As more traders turn to indices for their investment portfolios, understanding how to trade indices signals has become more important than ever.Ā
What is Indices Trading?Ā
Indices trading refers to buying and selling contracts that track the performance of a group of stocks. Instead of trading individual stocks, traders can trade indices that represent the collective performance of a basket of companies, typically from a specific industry or market.
Some of the most popular indices include:
S&P 500 (USA): Represents the 500 largest companies in the U.S.
FTSE 100 (UK): Includes 100 of the largest companies listed on the London Stock Exchange.
DAX 30 (Germany): Composed of 30 major German companies.
Nikkei 225 (Japan): Tracks 225 major companies in Japan.
By trading indices, you are speculating on the overall movement of the index, rather than the performance of an individual stock. This makes indices trading an attractive choice for traders looking to diversify their portfolios and reduce the risk that comes with trading single stocks.
Here’s how to effectively trade indices signals in 2025:
Trading indices signals involves using indicators or strategies that suggest when to buy or sell a particular index. These signals are often derived from technical analysis, market news, or economic indicators.Ā
Understand Indices Signals:
Indices signals are indications provided by professional traders, algorithms, or technical analysis that suggest good entry and exit points for an index trade. These signals may be based on chart patterns, key support/resistance levels, market news, or other influential factors.
Choose a Trading Platform:
Ensure you are using a platform that provides access to the indices you want to trade and offers real-time signals. Platforms like MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or MetaTrader 5 (MT5) are popular for indices trading, and they often come with automated trade copying features for those who want to follow expert traders.
Follow Signal Providers:
You can subscribe to professional indices signal services that offer real-time alerts with buy/sell signals for specific indices. These services usually come with historical performance data so you can assess the reliability of the signals over time.
Risk Management:
Indices trading involves substantial market fluctuations. To protect your investment, it’s essential to use risk management tools such as stop-loss and take-profit orders. These tools help you minimize losses and secure profits by automatically exiting trades at preset levels.
Monitor Economic News and Events:
Indices are highly influenced by global economic events, such as earnings reports, interest rate decisions, or geopolitical developments. Staying informed about these events will help you anticipate potential market movements and make more informed decisions.
Conclusion:
Indices trading provides a unique opportunity for traders to diversify their portfolios and gain exposure to entire markets or sectors. By understanding how to trade indices signals effectively in 2025, traders can take advantage of market movements and increase their chances of success.

Roman Pohorilyi was 22 when he started tracking Russian troop movements near Ukraine’s border. It was the fall of 2021, and he and a childhood friend, Ruslan Mykula, had been sharing news about foreign affairs to an audience of about 200 subscribers on a Telegram channel. It was just a hobby for them. Neither imagined that a year later their country would be in a state of absolute war with Russia, and that their hobby, which they called Deep State, would be tracking every aspect of it.
Although Deep State started as a news channel, it has become most famous for its open access map that charts the shifting front line of Russia’s invasion, and which has become a crucial tool for Ukrainians to keep track of the conflict that once threatened to overrun their country. On some days in late 2022, Deep State’s map received as many as 3 million views. Mykula showed WIRED a screenshot from the website’s dashboard that recorded more than 482 million views between June 2023 and June 2024.
Mykula and Pohorilyi created the map on the first day of the war, after recognizing a demand from their Telegram subscribers for frequent updates about what was happening. Pohorilyi was in the penultimate year of a law degree, and Mykula was working in marketing. But both had been learning open source intelligence skills to help verify videos of military activity that actors on all sides were publishing online.
The basic map itself, which a friend helped to design, is simple but precise. Territories occupied by Russia are shaded in red; those held by Ukraine are shaded in green. Blue marks areas that Ukraine has recently liberated. Known Russian units, airfields, and HQs are marked with small red squares; troop movements with arrows; and railways with black and white lines (Ukrainian positions are not shown). Zooming in, one can see detail down to the level of individual streets, villages, and tree lines. It looks like the board of a computer strategy game.
Tumblr media
Over time, Deep State has added more advanced features and quirks to the map. A toolbar in the bottom-left corner offers the option to enable different layers, including weather patterns, fortifications, and gamma radiation levels in case of nuclear disaster. Users can simulate the effect of different weapons, calculating the range and potential damage of everything from self-propelled howitzers and ballistic missiles to Patriot air defense systems and nuclear explosions. A hidden Easter egg summons an animation of Baby Yoda that, when poked, uses the Force to destroy Russian units.
The map soon became too much for Mykula and Pohorilyi to manage alone; they now enlist the help of more than 100 paid employees and volunteers. Their methods have also evolved. They still use open source intelligence to verify new information, but also acquire data directly from frontline military units whom they’ve developed relationships with. In some cases, the authority of a single source whom they’ve learned to trust is enough, though Mykula admits there have been occasional errors. In other cases, when multiple sources contradict one another, they wait until definitive evidence emerges. Propaganda is rife on both sides, and Mykula insists that Deep State will take no part in it. ā€œWe want to win,ā€ he says. ā€œPropaganda will not win.ā€
Mykula and Pohorilyi do, however, oblige when Ukrainian military commanders request delays to map updates that may compromise their activities. They also receive some government funding for an alternate version of the map available only to verified members of the military. The government funding also goes toward other intelligence activities that Ruslan refuses to discuss; most of their funding comes from public donations.
Late in the first year of the war, Mykula and Pohorilyi learned that their map was helping another, unexpected group of users: Russian soldiers. The map’s designer had added a function that would display instructions to surrender if a user tried to access from a Russian IP address. Then, in October 2022, in an interview with a popular Ukrainian blogger, a Russian POW testified that he had used Deep State’s map for this exact purpose.
The success of Deep State’s map has attracted more users to their original Telegram channel, which now has more than 700,000 subscribers. It publishes its own original reports of the war, all available through a free app, which other established Ukrainian media organizations sometimes refer to. But the map remains the most popular product, used by Ukrainians at home and abroad to track the front line that, at the time of writing, creeps further toward their office in Kyiv every day.
Both Mykula and Pohorilyi approach their work with a stern dedication that belies their youth and inexperience. ā€œWe don’t want to disappoint our audience because our projects have become critical for Ukrainians,ā€ Mykula says. ā€œIf you compare us to other maps, you will see that Ukrainians don’t go to check on them. They come to us.ā€

Hi! I’m a big fan of your writing, basically everything you put out there, fanfics, tumblr posts long and short, everything. Any topic you choose to discuss you manage to present very well, and get me interested every single time. If it is about a tv program I’ve never watched, or a theme park I’ve never been in - it’s captivating, it’s clever, it’s just GOOD writing! Are you subscribed to any newsletters? It’s quite a popular thing now, and a lot of time a real journalists are writing them. But unfortunately, very often this pieces are written pretty badly, like for example, they over edit and break the fourth wall at the same time, try to seem so deep, and profound, but at the same sentence drop some edgy joke and address me directly, as if we’re chatting and are buddies or something… like.. idk. And I know we all are very grateful for the Kerrang p2 interview, but did you see that sentence ā€œthe bassist grins at one pointā€? It’s like the worst #badfanfic cliche you can ever imagine. And it’s a big well known magazine, wtf??? What’s next? ā€œThe long haired manā€, the ā€œolder boyā€?? I’m sorry for the rant, but sometimes it just seems, that the best written articles about this band and others too, I’ve read on this website. Do you remember all those great things people wrote in retrospect about the tour this past year? A lot of very talented people are here. I’m really glad I’m subscribed to some of them.
Okay, first of all, thank you so much for the lovely compliment and I appreciate it, thank you, I'm so glad you enjoy listening to me babble. :-)
Second of all, though, I totally agree with you that I routinely read on Tumblr excellently written pieces that I do not read in professional publications, and it is infuriating to me. For some reason, "professional writing" is just so often...not good. Is it the editing? Is it, like, some kind of marketing data saying this is the tone everything should have? IS IT AI???? Like, for real, what is it??? But it is so frustrating to me.
I don't subscribe to any newsletters, I confess, but I have been trying to read more books, and I know I've talked about this before, but I keep reading highly recommended books and I'm just like, ....these are all terrible????? I read better fanfiction on literally a daily basis????? What is happening????? I just finished a queer romance and if anything should have been like a fic to read, you would have thought it would be that, but I was so distracted by how inconsistent the characters and even the story was, like, I was just like, This was professionally written and edited and this is what we ended up with?????
Anyway, I agree with you, everyone on here writes excellent Fall Out Boy analyses and reflections, thanks so much for them, I'm sure Pete Wentz also enjoys them.

Tumblr media
Search Engine Optimization (SEO): The process of optimizing a website to rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs) to increase organic (non-paid) traffic.
Content Marketing: Creating and distributing valuable, relevant content to attract and engage a target audience. This can include blog posts, articles, videos, infographics, and more.

Affiliate Marketing: Partnering with other businesses or individuals (affiliates) who promote your products in exchange for a commission on sales they generate.
Influencer Marketing: Collaborating with influential people in a particular niche to promote your products or services to their followers.
Online Public Relations (PR): Managing a brand's online reputation through activities like press releases, media outreach, and engaging with online communities.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Improving the effectiveness of a website or landing page to increase the percentage of visitors who take a desired action, such as making a purchase or filling out a form.
